Scott Goodinson has worked in the wastewater industry for nearly 30 years.  Scott is a US Navy Veteran, serving onboard a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine during the 1980’s.  After leaving the Navy in 1986, he tried his hands at several jobs but like most of us, a better environment and clean water was in his blood. Professional Services Group (PSG) hired Scott in 1990 as an entry-level operator at the (20.2 mgd) Cranston WPCF where he worked for 20 years until leaving as the Operations Manager. After Cranston he worked a few years the (7.9 mgd) West Warwick Regional WPCF until 2012 after which he accepted the position as the Assistant Superintendent at the (7.7 mgd) Warwick Sewer Authority (WSA). in November of 2019, Scott left the (WSA) and he is currently the Superintendent at the Town of Narragansett Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Mr. Goodinson has a Rhode Island Operator Grade IV Wastewater License, a Grade II Collections System Operations License, is a Veolia Water Project Manager’s “Boot Camp” Graduate, a RI Interlocal Trust Supervisor’s Management Institution (SMI) Graduate, holds numerous Train-the-Trainer Certifications and is OSHA 40 hour certified.

Having served on the Pawtuxet River Authority as its Vice-Chair for over 10 years, he is now a life-long associate member. He has also been a board member for the RI Narragansett Water Pollution Control Association (NWPCA) for many years and is now serving as its Past-President. Scott lives in Warwick with his wife Lidia, they have four children and two grandchildren.
