Passing this course can be equivalent to passing the Grade 1 exam given by the Rhode Island Board of Certification of Operators of Wastewater Treatment Facilities. While this course can also assist in preparation for other exams offered by the Board, a passing grade can only be applied toward a Grade 1 application; the Board licenses only approved applicants, so passing the course is not a guarantee of securing an RI Grade 1 license.
