Academic Scholarship

As part of its outreach efforts, RICWA offers an annual scholarship of up to $500 USD for students pursuing higher education to encourage and support academic growth.

 APPLICATION

Eligibility:
1. An essay explaining why you are attending college, how you chose your field of study, and what your goals are for the future.
2. A statement from the educational institution last attended which indicates your class standing.
3. Proof of enrollment at an accredited college or university will be required if selected for a scholarship.

Scholarships will be awarded at the sole discretion of the RICWA scholarship committee, with preference being given to students sponsored by a current and active member of RICWA.

Scholarship awards will be presented at the Annual Trade Show on September 8th, 2024 at Crowne Plaza, Warwick RI.

 


Giving Back to the Environment

Established in 1952, the Rhode Island Clean Water Association (RICWA), formerly the Narragansett Water Pollution Control Association (NWPCA), is a non-profit organization created to promote the advancement of knowledge concerning the nature, collection, treatment, and disposal of domestic and industrial wastewaters.
