EPA Recognizes Rhode Island Wastewater Treatment Entities for Excellence

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) New England Office recently awarded three 2023 Regional Wastewater Treatment Awards to Rhode Island wastewater facilities and individuals to recognize them for their commitment to improving water quality.

Stockholm Water Junior Prize

The Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) is the world most prestigious award presented to a high school student for a water related research project. Rhode Island Clean Water Association (RICWA) partners closely with the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) for this competition.
